We are a seasonal family owned restaurant serving fresh food made to order.

We have ice cream, smash burgers, hotdogs, hoagies, cheesesteaks, wings, chicken tenders, and other tasty treats!

Pop-Up on Saturday, Sept. 27th 11am-7pm

Join us for our second off-season pop-up event! What is a pop-up? It's when we serve a limited menu with just a few items for one day only, so we will not have our regular summer menu available. It's chef's birthday, and the man wants cheesesteak, so cheesesteaks, wings, and fries it is!

The following will be available for take-out or outdoor dining while supplies last:

Cheesesteak: a full pound of steak and Cooper Sharp American cheese with grilled onions on a lightly mayoed 10" roll for $12.50. Add lettuce, tomato, or bell peppers for $0.50 each.
Wings: 1/2 dozen (6) for $6.50 or 1 dozen (12) for $12.50. Your choice of Buffalo, hot honey, BBQ, garlic parmesan, lemon pepper, or plain. Orders of a dozen can choose 2 flavors and receive 6 wings of each kind.
Pierogies with brown butter and caramelized onions for $5.50.
Loaded Pierogies with bacon, shredded cheddar, sour cream, and green onions for $6.50.
Fries for $2.50
Make it a combo! Add fries and a small drink to your entree for $3.50 or fries and a large drink for $4.00.

A limited soft serve ice cream menu will also be available - cups, cones, shakes, malts, and some sundaes. More details to come! Follow us on Facebook for the latest info.

Join us for our first off season pop-up event! What is a pop-up? It's when we serve a limited menu with just a few items for one day only, so we will not have our regular summer menu available. For this first pop-up, chef is going Italian!

The following entrees will be available for take-out or outdoor dining.

Chicken parmesan served with angel hair pasta and marinara sauce, side salad, and garlic bread for $13.50.
Sausage marinara served with angel hair pasta, side salad, and garlic bread for $12.50.
Angel hair pasta with marinara and fresh basil, side salad, and garlic bread (vegetarian option) for $11.00.
Sausage sandwich served with your choice of onions, peppers, and marinara for $6.25.
The Phoenix Nest specialty sandwich: Chicken parmesan cutlets served on our 10" hoagie roll, topped with fresh basil, roasted red pepper pesto, and Italian burrata cheese for $13.50.

A limited soft serve ice cream menu will also be available - cups, cones, shakes, malts, and some sundaes. Cinnamon rolls should also be available. More details to come! Follow us on Facebook for the latest info.

End of Summer 2025 Season - Sunday, August 17th

We are closed for the 2025 summer season. We will reopen in May 2026.

To those wondering why the "short" season? 1) the chef has to go back to his regular chef job that follows the Penn State schedule and 2) it’s not currently financially feasible to stay open all year. We don’t want to go out of business because we tried to do too much too soon. We’re trying for a slow and steady approach to make sure we can be sustainable for years to come. This first short season was a way for us to learn the community and what works in the restaurant - we'll take those lesson and come back even stronger next year. The Phoenix will rise again in May 2026!

We will be doing some pop-up days before we open again next summer. The current pop-up schedule is:

Saturday, September 13th - Chicken Parmesan and a limited ice cream menu
Saturday, September 27th - Wings, cheesesteaks, and fries with a limited ice cream menu
More TBA - chef is looking to do one or two a month (Phoenix favorites and new items like soups and baked goods)
